The Commission

Who we are

We are the AI Security and AI Governance Commission of CCHIA. We work to build the capabilities, knowledge and research that drive the safe, ethical and responsible use of artificial intelligence in Chile, with reach across Latin America.

Our purpose

To build capabilities, knowledge and research in AI security and AI governance in Chile, and to project them across Latin America.

Scope

National, with regional reach

What we are working on

Six complementary and mutually reinforcing work streams

Each stream contributes a different piece: awareness, training, internal leadership, research, evidence from industry, and cybersecurity practice. Together they cover the full cycle of responsible AI adoption.

Awareness

Initial awareness building (Step 0)

We build awareness of the responsible, ethical and safe use of AI among people, teams and organisations.

  • Responsible AI, ethics and regulatory compliance content.
  • Campaigns and materials accessible to non-specialist audiences.
  • A shared starting point for every other work stream.
